About Us

The idea for The New Christian Movement came about in 2016 during a Leadership Development trip to Ghana. Our Founder, Karl Golden Jr was inspired by the communities he worked with and the people he met. During the midst of deep reflection sessions and challenging life experiences on the trip, Karl turned to God for help.

It was during this trip Karl decided to give faith a chance. Just one step toward God led to the building of an organization that focuses on uplifting and empowering young people. We specifically want to share the light of Jesus Christ because of the transformational power we have experienced in Christ. We are inspired and motivated to make a difference and influence positive change in every young person we encounter whether that be through mentoring, speaking, or even connecting online.

Our outreach is channeled through our three pillars of engagement. We are seeking to engage people and share the light of Christ through inspiration, music, and events. Through this engagement, we accomplish our mission of helping youth and young adults develop a lasting and impactful relationship with Jesus Christ. Thanks for reading a little bit about us.
